Riley Cross Memorial Park is a triangular green area south of the center for the Visual Arts. It’s shady trees and wooden benches provide a haven for children and adults who make a stop in the park part of their CVA visit. It is named in honor of Riley Cross who was the owner and publisher of the Denton Record- Chronicle from 1945 until 1970.
