June 8 | What's the Scoop? Pop-Up Art Show Supporting Denton Community Market

What's the Scoop, y'all? The Dentonite & the Greater Denton Arts Council are proud to announce our 2nd annual fundraising event for the Denton Community Market! Last year the What's the Angle? Pop-Up Art Show was quite successful. This year we are rolling with the same concept, grab & go art, but changing the shape a little bit.

Artists will be given an ice cream scoop-shaped pattern on which to create their art! All proceeds go toward the Denton Community Market.

Each "scoop" will also come with a commemorative laser-engraved "cone" plaque with the event name and date. Custom framing, plaques, and hanging structures will be built by Nice Dudes Servicing Craft.

We will have complimentary ice cream & fixins' thanks to Beth Marie's Old Fashioned Ice Cream, food & wine from Hannah's, and -of course- beer from Armadillo Ale Works. Come buy some art and get your snack on!

Mercury Rev's Jesse Chandler will be serenading us in piano played tunes throughout the evening as well.
