Artist Statement:
Dream Sequence is a composite video exploring the ideas of space and the mind, and how the two are connected.
As a very introspective person, I felt that an exploration into consciousness, dreams, and the brain would make for a fine project. However, space has been a life long fixation of mine that I felt was also important enough for me to explore in this fashion. I came to the realization that the two are largely connected; we need our complex minds to make sense of an infinitely more complex universe, and that same universe allows us to understand more about ourselves here and life around us. They explain each other yet there is so much we don’t know about either one.
