All That Was Left Was Light, 2025

Porcelain, LEDs

My work centers around an interest in playing with our built environment in subtle ways. Clay is my primary medium, but my practice is also shaped by other craft and sculptural traditions. My work often lands at the intersections of functional and sculptural objects.

I draw inspiration from nature and human memory identity. I also like to explore the interplay between the sensory and the constructed world.

At the heart of my making is a love of puzzles and problem-solving. I am fascinated by the way things fit together both visually and conceptually. I approach each piece with a ton of curiosity, allowing material play to guide me toward unexpected solutions and forms.

Ultimately, my work is an invitation to pause and wonder at the intricate, often overlooked things that shape our physical world and our understanding of our place in it.
