Virtual walls are no longer just a big-budget Hollywood tool. They’re becoming accessible, flexible, and powerful options for filmmakers at every level. This panel brings together three unique perspectives on virtual wall production: an educator and filmmaker interested in using the technology in real projects, a studio owner who rents and supports virtual wall stages, and a manufacturer building the LED walls themselves. Together, they’ll break down what virtual walls actually are, when they make sense to use, and how filmmakers can realistically integrate them into their productions. We’ll talk honestly about the creative advantages, the technical considerations, and the common misconceptions. From storytelling and performance to budgeting, prep, and logistics, this conversation is designed to help filmmakers understand how virtual walls can expand what’s possible without losing the human side of filmmaking.
