Join us for a special lecture and pop-up exhibit featuring a keynote address by Denise Meda-Lambru, presented by the Our Refugee Stories Archive (ORSA). Meda-Lambru's work explores how Chicanx scholars and artists utilize altars to subscribe to a sense of spirituality that maintains interconnected relations with others who have been disempowered and marginalized.

Following the address, guests are invited to participate in community art-making, including a collaborative loom and a pop-up exhibit featuring an altar and zines reflecting immigrant and refugee experiences.
