In this workshop led by artist Aileen Khuu, participants will learn about the process of making paper clay, the uses of paper clay, and the different surface finishes that can be achieved through the process of decorating their own fake cake made of paper clay. Participants will receive a premade cake base and create their own portion of paper clay to create different toppers for their cakes and decorate their cakes. Methods touched upon include basic hand building skills and paint application skills. All levels and ages are welcome.
