Denton ISD Presents: Dia de los Muertos

Skulls, stories, and sacred colors; our Denton ISD high school Dia de los Muertos exhibition is a celebration of life, art, and memory. We invite you to experience the rich artistic traditions of the holiday as expressed through the creative lens of our community’s emerging young artists.

In the gallery, visitors will find a community ofrenda to which you’re welcome to contribute the names of passed loved ones on the paper butterflies provided. There’s also a community art table where anyone is welcome to create their own artwork to add to the wall. For our littlest artists,  we’ve provided coloring sheets specially designed by graphic design students at TWU.

Displayed October 17 through December 13, 2025.
