Katina Stone-Butler & Friends R&B Soul Cafe Live Music
Join us for a special time of live R&B Soul music with multi-talented Denton music creative Katina Stone-Butler and fellow local music artists. This laid-back event promises food, drinks, dancing, and fun. Katina, with her profound connection to both cultural celebration and artistic expression, is the ideal headliner for our March First Friday event, perfectly aligning with the transition from Black History Month to Women’s History Month. Stone-Butler stands out as a classically trained singer/songwriter, vocal coach, activist, and entrepreneur.
She's the driving force behind The Fountain, a movement aimed at inspiring Black and other women of color through the powerful nexus of faith, culture, and creativity. Additionally, Katina is the founder of Hood Sensory, where her mission is to offer stylish sensory apparel for those with neurodivergent and sensory conditions, designed with a deep understanding of Black and Indigenous perspectives. Her multifaceted career and dedication to community empowerment make her the perfect feature for an evening celebrating the intertwining of history, music, and culture.
Enjoy the live music while sipping on a drink from the cash bar provided by Chestnut Tree Bistro and nibble on small bites from Eatie’s Catering.
