Beating Heart, 2026

Video sculpture

Beating Heart is an installation work with a 2D paper sculpture and video projection. A robot body ripped in half, yet existing with a beating heart. It delves into the reoccurring themes of techno-orientalism, humanity, and cycles. It seeks to challenge our understanding of sentience and how we assess it in a physical form.
