The Greater Denton Arts Council and the University of North Texas present the third annual Electric! — a one-night-only light art exhibition showcasing the creativity of student artists from UNT’s College of Visual Arts and Design (CVAD). This exhibition features student artwork from Professor Alicia Eggert’s Art in Public class and Zak Loyd’s New Media Senior Studio.

Experience the Intersection of Art and Technology:

As you navigate the exhibition, you’ll encounter light sculptures, projection art, and interactive installations. Each artwork explores the transformative power of light, inviting viewers to experience art in new and unexpected ways.

All of the students designed their work to be transported and installed at GDAC in just two days. This exhibition celebrates their hard work and highlights the exciting possibilities of art in public spaces.
