Memory Terrain, 2025

Canvas (36x24), cardstock, cardboard, projector

In this work, I wanted to explore how memory shifts and reshapes itself over time. I layer paper cutouts on the canvas to create a topographic surface that reflects the uneven terrain of remembering. Onto this surface, I project found footage fragments that distort and overlap, echoing the ways memories bend, fragment, and resist alignment with truth. Through these layers, I want to show how remembering is always an act of transformation.
