About:

Noah Steely is a UNT sculpture student who commonly works with raw materials and keeps true to their form, rarely choosing to mask them as another. His works find comedy in the mundane and abstracts reality almost past recognition. He raises awareness to often forgotten matters of daily life and frequently challenges viewers with subtle audience interaction. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Noah developed a passion for art at an early age, drawing inspiration from books he read as a child such as Dr. Suess, and from late 2000s internet videos. Currently studying at the University of North Texas, Noah expands his craft into sculpture after previously working exclusively in drawing and painting. Noah Steely's art seeks to evoke joy and laughter from its viewers and challenge them with subtle behavioral blockers and call attention to overlooked and underappreciated aspects of society. Noah continues to create, pushing the boundaries of his craft and evolving with each new project.
