For one night, we’ll transform Festival Hall into an immersive Alice in Wonderland experience through digital media and a curiously curated silent auction taking you along a hunt for treasures to take home.
The food and drinks won’t make you grow or shrink, but the atmosphere and entertainment will fulfill your sense of wonder.

Spilling the Tea on the Party
Every year, to uphold the Greater Denton Arts Council’s long-time commitment to honoring those who have made an impact on community arts, we host a celebration and awards ceremony dedicated to shining a light on those individuals and their work.
This year our theme, the “Mad Hatter Soirée”, reflects the joy, whimsy, and imagination in the hearts of those who love and commit themselves to the arts. For an experience like no other, we’re using video projections to fill the arts center walls from floor to ceiling with images inspired by Alice in Wonderland to immerse you in that whimsical world. The evening will also include food, drinks, entertainment, and a silent auction meant to lead you down a rabbit hole and into a world of wonder.
This event is one of GDAC’s biggest fundraisers, and as a nonprofit, the money generated from this night plays an integral role in supporting the organization’s success. the h.e.a.r.t awards
Not by order of the Red Queen, but by the declarations of community members, we will be honoring five individuals for their commitments and contributions to the arts. The awards include; Hero, Emerging Leader, Artist, Roni Beasley (recognizes cumulative support of the arts from an individual or business), and Teacher.
