The Overflow, 2024

Reed, wood, LED lights, fabric

The sculpture is a round, donut-like shape with a 6.5 ft diameter and about 2ft tall. This piece is about being overflowed with peace even in the chaos. The main shape represents our minds and the intertwining reed is the many busy thoughts our minds run through. The warm lights that glow from within the sculpture represent the feeling of peace and the fabric hanging from the main structure is an overflow of that peace.
