2026 Artist Micro-grants

If you’re looking for a extra boost to get your creative project off the ground, GDAC provides up to $500.00 in micro-grant awards to local artists. These micro-grants support artistic projects in all mediums, from visual to performing arts. Past awardees’ projects have included dance performances, music podcasts, photography, community art events, children’s art classes, and more. We encourage applicants whose projects have a community-facing element to promote public engagement with the arts.

Eligible applicants must be Denton County residents who are age 18 or older, artists working in any medium, and GDAC members (at any membership tier) in good standing. If you don’t already have a membership, you can sign-up here. For complete micro-grant information and applications, click here.
