Now Hiring: Exhibitions Coordinator & Curator
We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Exhibitions Coordinator and Curator to plan, develop, and execute exhibitions in each of our galleries at our flagship facility, the Patterson Appleton Arts Center, as well as in our Sister Galleries around the City of Denton. As a nonprofit serving the local community, we strive to make experiences with the arts accessible through rotating solo and group exhibitions that are free and open to the public and reflect Denton’s multi-faceted, energetic arts scene.
Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in Art History, Curatorial Studies, Fine Arts, or a related field, as well as a minimum of two to five years of experience in gallery, museum, or nonprofit arts. The Exhibitions Curator will need excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and knowledge of contemporary art practies and trends.
