Morph Cookie, 2026
Multimedia
Morph Cookie is a circular sculpture representing a living cookie monster that has mutated into a colorful and unusual creature. Made from synthetic circular plastic, the sculpture is painted in a variety of colors, including blue, red, green, yellow, and more. Its surface uses an implied texture inspired by the visible brushstrokes of Impressionist painting, creating movement and giving the creature a lively, energetic appearance. The colorful LED lights surround the sculpture, adding an electric light source.
The Cookie creature has its mouth and eyes showing it is alive and looking for its next sweet treat. Within this creative space, the Cookie will try to eat any art paint and grow even bigger and stronger. Therefore, this creature feels both familiar and strange. The sculpture explores transformation, imagination, and the idea of turning something simple into something completely unexpected.
