As an artist I work to create a trade of ideas with the world around me, taking inspiration from the extraordinary things I find, whether they be from nature, history, or other artists and creating something unique through my perspective. I primarily work as a mixed media artist, incorporating a variety of different materials and techniques. After experimenting in different disciplines, I’ve found that it’s difficult to restrict myself to one material or medium, and so I embraced a healthy diversity in my work. The materials I use the most are industrial and hard like plastics, metals, and resins. However many of my pieces also explore natural materials like soil, plants, and bones. In the process of making, I focus on the step by step sequence, often exploring how this sequence changes depending on the themes, materials, and timeline.

There is an underlying connection between all of my works, combining pop culture iconography, technology, nature, and historical events. These four thematic elements are recurring throughout all of my pieces, whether they are the direct focus or not. Many of my works think about social messaging through this lens, often addressing modern issues like artificial intelligence, environmental damage, economic shifts, etc.
