Annual Members Meeting - Thursday Jan. 16th, 2025

We kicked off 2025 at the PAAC celebrating everything we accomplished here over 2024 and everything we have planned in the year ahead. Thank you to everyone who attended for your support and kind words about our work at GDAC! We took a look back on some of our best successes in exhibitions like Materials: Hard + Soft, 30 Under 30, and SPLASH!, and special events like Electric! and our Mad Hatter Soiree. If you couldn’t make it last night and missed the sneak peak on our plans for this year, don’t worry. But for a quick look at the exciting things to come, we’re getting ready for the opening of our newest signature show, Punk Love, on February 7th, followed by our 38th annual Materials: Hard + Soft Contemporary Craft & Conceptual Art Competition and Exhibition on February 27th. We have an incredible selection of work in both of these upcoming shows, so please take the opportunity to see and experience artwork from both domestic and international artists! In March, we’ll be hosting our first annual Amplify Denton music fest in partnership with the Denton Music & Arts Collaborative (DMAC) and we’re now seeking sponsors. We’re also planning this year’s Electric! pop-up in collaboration with UNT’s College of Visual Art and Design for another amazing night of immersive electric artwork and music.
