Electric! - Oct. 19, 2024

In collaboration with UNT’s College of Visual Art and Design (CVAD), we brought you Electric! for one night only. Inside and outside of the PAAC, CVAD’s next generation of innovative artists installed 40 artworks using light, projection, and other electrified media for an immersive art experience unlike any other.

Organized by our amazing education coordinator, Jess Green, QR codes throughout the building brought visitors to a digital, interactive map through which to explore artists displayed across the grounds and view their artist statements. At a time when new and emerging technologies are changing the creative landscape, GDAC and CVAD are here to embrace intrepid artists exploring new methods of making art never before possible. We’re thrilled to support the ingenuity of local art students breaking barriers and constantly evolving the creative process.
