Artist Micro-Grants 2025 Applications Now Open!
If you’re trying to get a creative project off the ground, GDAC is here to help! 2025 Artist Micro-grant applications are open today and we encourage artists of all backgrounds and disciplines to apply. Past micro-grant awardees have produced musical and dance performances, photographic portfolios, installation artworks, and even helped bring us Speed Bump lil’ d. These grants are designed to help Denton County’s artists continue enriching the lives of everyone in the community through their creative contributions.
Grant proposals must be for art or art oriented projects and programs that must take place in Denton or Denton County within a year of receiving the award. Applications will be reviewed by a committee of community members who will make recommendations to the GDAC Board of Directors. The Board will then make the final decisions about the dispersion of funds.
Eligible applicants must be 18 years old or older, residents of Denton County, an artist working in any media including musical and performing arts, and a GDAC member in good standing. If you don’t currently have a membership with us, no worries! You can sign up online or here at the PAAC.
